The Leeds Roller Dolls are an all-female Roller Derby team that have been growing and training together for over 18 months. Roller Derby is a high adrenaline, fast-paced, full contact roller skating sport.
We are looking for new recruits aged over 18 to join our growing league. All you need is enthusiasm- roller skates, protective equipment and full, professional coaching are all available to hire by the Lottery funded Leeds Roller Dolls.
Any girls interested in joining please get in touch and come along to one of our practices. We're currently on the hunt for a new practice venue for Sundays however we also train at Moorlands School, Leeds on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

You can hire skates for £3 per session, pads and helmet for £3 and £4 to cover room hire and coaching, but your FIRST MONTH is FREE! (if you need to hire skate, please let us know in advance)
You'll get all the coaching you need from our fabulous qualified coach; Jerry Attric!
Any guys wanting to help out with refereeing/promoting/cheerleading(?) Please get in touch too, we're always looking for extra help.

ROLL BRITANNIA - Europes 1st Roller Derby Tournment
18th - 19th July

Two days, 12 leagues from the UK and Europe, 16 action-packed roller derby bouts! Don't miss the roller derby event of the year on 18-19 July 2009 at Earls Court, located in central London.
Come and watch us begin the tournament in the opening bout, where we will be going head to head with Birmingham Blitz Derby Dames - again!

Thank you all who came to support us at our first public bout. LRD put up a good fight and played fair and square but we lost to BBDD. LRD would like to thank BBDD for hosting our first public bout, it was a great experience!
We would also like to give a big thank you to Lily Lethal, Crazy Legs and Candy Savage from Auld Reekie Roller Girls for being apart of our team, Coach Jerry Attric, Captain Rushin' Doll and Rikkter Scale for getting us to where we are now!

Awards for All
Leeds Roller Dolls would like to thank the Lottery's Awards for All for the recent cash grant of £2,250. The money will be used for new equipment to support our new and future recruits.
